AN OHL MILESTONE MOMENT FOR JAKE MURRAY
Ontario Hockey League

JAKE MURRAY (HAMILTON BULLDOGS):
The Hamilton Bulldogs came up short, but Jake Murray scored the first goal of his OHL career on Thursday night in Windsor. Murray got his stick on a low shot from Connor Roberts, deflecting the puck through the legs of Windsor goaltender Michael DiPietro to put an end to his shutout bid with 1:12 left in the third period. A 17-year-old from Komoka, Ont., Murray was Hamilton’s fourth round pick of the 2016 OHL Priority Selection from the Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs Minor Midgets. He spent last season with the St. Thomas Stars Jr. B club.
