2017-2018 will be a season Brandon will always remember. He set career marks in all offensive categories during the regular season (35 goals, 35 assists for 70 points). In the playoffs he helped lead the Bulldogs to the OHL Championship (18 goals, 7 assists for 25 points) and had 4 assists in four games at the Memorial Cup in Regina.
Despite being passed over twice, Saigeon was drafted by the Colorado Avalanche in the 5th round (140th overall) in the 2018 NHL Draft.
