BULLDOGS ACQUIRE NHL DRAFTED PLAYER FROM FLINT

The Hamilton Bulldogs have added some international experience to the lineup by acquiring Jan Jenik of the Czech Republic.

In return, the Bulldogs send a 5th round draft pick in 2020 to the Flint Firebirds and a conditional 4th round pick in 2024.

Jenik was a 3rd round (65th overall) pick by the Arizona Coyotes in the 2018 NHL Draft and played recently for the Czech Republic at the 2019 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship.

The 18-year old centerman was a 1st round (6th overall) pick in the 2018 CHL Import Draft by Flint.

Jenik is expected to be in the line-up Wednesday night when the Bulldogs open a Michigan road trip in Saginaw.
