The Bulldogs started off a three game weekend with a 6-2 loss in Oshawa Friday night.
Hamilton got on the score-sheet first as Navrin Mutter (1) got his first goal of the season at the 4:13 mark of the 1st period. However, the hometown Generals quickly tied things up and then put home one more to make it 2-1 by the end of the first period.
Matthew Strome (9) tried to get the Bulldogs back into the game with a goal at the halfway point of the third period narrowing Oshawa’s lead to 4-2, but Oshawa responded with two more late goals to finish the scoring at 6-2 handing the Bulldogs their fourth straight loss.
Hamilton out-shot Oshawa 38- 32.
Conor Ali played his first game as a Bulldog after being acquired earlier today from the Kingston Frontenacs and recorded one shot on goal.
