The Hamilton Bulldogs lost the battle of the special teams in Peterborough Sunday afternoon losing 8-3. The Petes scored five power-play goals and one short-handed while the Bulldogs got two with the man advantage and one short-handed.
Despite being out-shot 15-6 in the 1st period, the Bulldogs went to the dressing room tied 2-2. The Petes started to pull away in the 2nd taking a 5-3 lead before adding three more in the 3rd to finish the scoring.
Hamilton got a short-handed goal from Marian Studenic (4) and power-play markers from Matthew Strome (5) and Arthur Kaliyev (3).
Peterborough goal scorers were Semyon Der-Arguchintsev (4,5), Logan DeNoble (4,5), Chris Paquette (5), Bobby Dow (2), Jonathan Ang (7) and Adam Timleck (7).
The Bulldog out-shot the Petes 40-37.

Hamilton’s season record drops to 6-4-1-3 while Peterborough improves to 10-5-0-1.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Thursday November 2nd when they travel to Windsor to face the Spitfires at 7:05 pm. They return to FirstOntario Centre for a weekend double-header Saturday at 7 pm vs Oshawa and Sunday at 2 pm vs Windsor.
