BULLDOGS SELECT RYAN WINTERTON 8TH OVERALL IN THE 2019 OHL PRIORITY SELECTION

The Hamilton Bulldogs selected Ryan Winterton with the 8th overall selection in the 2019 OHL Priority Selection presented by Real Canadian SuperStore.

Winterton, a 6-ft-156 lbs ceterman, played last season for the Whitby Wildcats Minor Midgets where he scored 38 goals and added 34 assists for 72 points in 36 games.

OHL Central Scouting describes Winterton as a complete player that does a little bit of everything. He’s a good skater with a powerful stride that allows him to reach top speed quickly.

Winterton’s skill set and Hockey IQ are high. He can score and set up plays at an elite level, plays a complete 200-ft game, plays hard and competes in all three zones.
