After starting the weekend with a 4-3 loss in Mississauga Friday night, the Bulldogs rebounded and took the back end of the home and home series Saturday with a 5-1 win over the Steelheads at FirstOntario Centre.
The Bulldogs had a 2-0 lead before the 10-minute mark of the 1st period on goals by Mackenzie Entwistle (4) and a power-play marker from Arthur Kaliyev (7). The Bulldogs then added two more in the final minute as Ben Garagan (2) on the power-play and Isaac Nurse (3) scored 10-seconds apart to make it 4-0.
There was no scoring in the 2nd with the Steelheads scoring on the power-play mid-way through the 3rd before Nicolas Mattinen (4) scored into the empty-net to make the final 5-1.
Bulldogs goalie Zachary Roy got the win making 29 saves to improve his record to 2-0.
Hamilton out-shot Mississauga 31-30.

The Bulldogs are in Oshawa Sunday night and then spend next week on the road with stops in Owen Sound (Wed), Sudbury (Fri) and Sault Ste. Marie (Sat). The next home game is Friday October 26th against the Oshawa Generals at 7 pm at FirstOntario Centre.
