BULLDOGS SNAP 4-GAME LOSING STREAK WITH 4-2 WIN OVER OSHAWA

The Hamilton Bulldogs snapped a four-game losing streak with a 4-2 home-ice win over the Oshawa Generals Saturday night.

Just :38 seconds later, Hamilton upped the lead to 3-0 as Justin Lemcke (3) blasted one home from the point.

The Generals got a quick start to the 2nd period scoring a short-handed goal at :09 to cut the Hamilton lead to 3-1 and then made it a 1-goal game at 2:11. The Bulldogs got the momentum back late in the period as Ben Garagan (1) put a backhand past Oshawa goalie Cole Ceci at 17:36 to make it 4-2 for the home team after forty minutes.

The Bulldogs shut it down in the 3rd period and despite the Generals hitting two goal posts, they had few other good chances as the final twenty minutes went scoreless.
