FUTURE BULLDOGS ON THE ICE THIS WEEKEND AT ROOKIE ORIENTATION CAMP

The Hamilton Bulldogs will have some of its future on the ice this weekend as they hold their 2017 Rookie Orientation Camp.

Close to 40 players will take part in the 3-day camp that will include off-ice fitness testing as well as on-ice practices and scrimmages.

Among those taking part will be twelve players from the Bulldogs Class of 2016 draft picks including 1st round pick Connor Roberts and 3rd round pick Riley McCourt.

Thirteen players taken by Hamilton in the 2017 OHL Priority Selection will also be on the ice including 1st round pick Connor McMichael, 2nd round pick Arthur Kaliyev and 3rd round selection Liam Van Loon.

Also, taking part will be all five players taken by the Bulldogs in the 2017 Under 18 Priority Selection as well as several free agent invitees.

The public is invited out to the Firestone Arena in Ancaster to watch the three scrimmages scheduled. On Saturday, the players will be divided into two teams at 9:15 am and 3:30 pm with the third scrimmage Sunday morning at 10 am.

Hamilton Bulldogs seasons tickets and merchandise will be on sale in the lobby of the arena on Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm.
