BULLDOGS ANNOUNCE CABLE 14 BROADCAST SCHEDULE

HAMILTON, ONTARIO – The Hamilton Bulldogs announced today that Cable 14 will televise all 12 of the team’s Friday night home games at Copps Coliseum this season, beginning with the regular season and home opener this Friday, October 11th, when the club hosts the St. John’s IceCaps at 7:30 p.m. All games will be broadcast live and in high definition.

The complete schedule is as follows (all games to be played at Copps Coliseum):

Friday, October 11th, 2013, 7:30 p.m. – St. John’s IceCaps (Winnipeg Jets) at Hamilton Bulldogs
Friday, October 25th, 2013, 7:30 p.m. – Rochester Americans (Buffalo Sabres) at Hamilton Bulldogs
Friday, November 1st, 2013, 7:30 p.m. – Toronto Marlies (Toronto Maple Leafs) at Hamilton Bulldogs

Cable 14 will be available in HD to Cogeco subscribers on channel 814, Rogers subscribers on channel 214 and Source subscribers on channel 714.

Cable 14’s broadcast team will include Stephen Clark as Play-By-Play Announcer, Norm Miller as Colour Commentator and Reed Duthie as Host and Interviewer.

Clark, a Waterdown resident, has been involved at Cable 14 since 2005. His broadcasting career with the station has included games in Ontario University Athletics, Ontario Colleges Athletics Association, high school, international basketball and semi-pro soccer. He’s also the Host/Producer of Cable 14’s The Broadcast Booth and is in his seventh year as the TV voice of the Ontario Hockey League’s Niagara IceDogs.

Miller has been involved with Cable 14's Hamilton Bulldogs broadcasts as Colour Commentator for more than 10 years. He worked in professional sports in communications for 15 years, starting his career with the Canadian Football League in 1988, and was with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats from 1993 to 1999.  He also spent two seasons as colour commentator for the OHL's Brampton Battalion games on RogersTV.

For the past six years, Duthie’s broadcasting career has included games in the Intercounty Baseball League, Allan Cup Hockey, Ontario Football Alliance and OUA Football. He has worked as a correspondent and writer for MMA Ontario and also co-hosts Cable 14’s MMA Cave, providing in-depth coverage of upcoming mixed martial arts events and top local fighters.

Hamilton’s next game is its regular season and home opener, scheduled for Friday, October 11th at 7:30 p.m. against the St. John’s IceCaps at Copps Coliseum. The club will host a home opener street party starting at 5:00 p.m., which will feature food provided by Maple Lodge Farms, family entertainment, sponsor vendors and a beer garden serving Molson products. Y108 will also be hosting its Drive Show live at the street party from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
