About the Foundation

The mission of the Bulldogs’ Foundation is to enrich the lives of children and youth in the Greater Hamilton Area through the assignment of tickets, cash donations and gifts in kind. The Foundation aims to promote the creativity of interactive programs involving education, physical fitness and personal well-being.

About the program

Last year, the Bulldogs’ Foundation donated $200,000 to 20 Hamilton area high-needs schools through its Nutrition Program. The program allows students at these schools to start each day with a healthy and nutritious breakfast so they can focus on learning.

COVID-19

Now more than ever schools need support providing healthy food to students. With recent world events safety has been pivotal for schools and classrooms. The Hamilton Bulldogs’ Foundation is one of the only current approved means of food delivery within Hamilton and the surrounding area because of its ties with Grocery Gateway and Longos. This partnership allows food to safely be transferred with minimal contact from the food facility to each school.

What is the benefit of me donating through the Bulldogs?

Donating through the Hamilton Bulldogs gives you added bonuses ontop of the fact that you are donating to schools.

You receive extras such as but not limited to

  • Marketing, you will be included in marketing materials
  • Exposure, your logo will be displayed on multiple mediums across Bulldogs platforms
  • Schools receive branded toques
  • You’re donating to a registered charity

How do I know the school received my donation?

The Hamilton Bulldogs supply each partner with a recap deck at the end of each season which outlines where your donation went to.

Am I able to receive a charitable donation receipt?

Yes, the Bulldogs’ Foundation will be able to supply you with a charitable donation receipt upon request.
