The Hamilton Bulldogs can now concentrate on the 1st round of the OHL playoffs after wrapping up the regular season with an 8-4 loss Friday night in Sudbury.
The Bulldogs were first on the board as Liam Stevens (6) scored at the 11:21 mark of the 1st period but the Wolves responded less than two minutes later to send the teams to the dressing rooms tied 1-1.
The Wolves came out hungry for more in the 2nd period scoring three goals, two of which were scored 7 seconds apart to take a 4-1 lead. Late in the period, Dylan D’Agostino (1) scored his first career OHL goal to cut the Wolves lead in half at 4-2 after 40 minutes.
Six goals were scored in the 3rd period but unfortunately for the Bulldogs, Sudbury scored four times with Logan Morrison (14) on the power-play and Arthur Kaliyev (51) responding for Hamilton as the game finished 8-4 Wolves.
