BULLDOGS FINISH ROAD TRIP WITH LOSS IN WINDSOR

The Hamilton Bulldogs failed to gain any points as they finished a three game road trip with a 5-3 loss in Windsor Sunday night.

The Spitfires scored the only goal of the first period as former Bulldog Adam Laishram scored on the power-play.

The Bulldogs had a much better second period outscoring Windsor 2-1 as Michael Cramarossa (14) and Matt Luff (17) scored as the second period ended tied 2-2. Cramarossa’s goal was the 50th of his OHL career.

Hamilton ran out of gas in the third as Windsor scored three goals with Brandon Saigeon (10) the only Bulldog to find the back of the net late.

Captain Justin Lemcke had a productive night offensively picking up three assists.

Along with Laishram, Windsor got goals from Hayden McCool, Graham Knott, Aaron Luchuk and Luke Boka.

With the loss, the Bulldogs season record drops to 22-20-3-2 with their road record now 12-11.

Hamilton returns home to FirstOntario Centre for two games this weekend to face the Barrie Colts Friday night at 7:30 pm and the Niagara IceDogs Saturday night at 7 pm.
