1ST STAR: JAN JENIK (HAMILTON BULLDOGS):
Arizona Coyotes prospect Jan Jenik showed off his skills, scoring twice while adding two assists as the Hamilton Bulldogs defeated visiting Peterborough 6-4. Jenik scored a pair of nice goals and contributed on each of Hamilton’s first four markers to give himself points in four of the last five games. The season-high four point effort brings Jenik’s total to 19 points (7-12–19) over 17 games since joining Hamilton in early January. The 18-year-old from Brno, Czech Republic represented his country at the 2019 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship. He was Arizona’s third round pick in the 2018 NHL Draft.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS

2ND STAR: NANDO EGGENBERGER (OSHAWA GENERALS):
Swiss winger Nando Eggenberger helped the Oshawa Generals skate to their sixth straight win, scoring twice while adding an assist in a 5-1 road victory over the Saginaw Spirit. Eggenberger played alongside Kyle MacLean and Tyler Tullio, scoring once in the first period and once in the second to give himself 21 goals along with 42 points over 48 games this season. The 19-year-old product of Chur, Switzerland has points in each of the last three games. Eggenberger captained Switzerland at the 2019 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship. He attended rookie camp with the Vancouver Canucks in September.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS

3RD STAR: PHILIP TOMASINO (NIAGARA ICEDOGS):
2019 NHL Draft prospect Philip Tomasino did his part in an 8-1 Niagara IceDogs road win in Erie, scoring while adding two assists. Tomasino was plus-5 in the lopsided victory, getting back onto the scoresheet for the first time in five games. The 17-year-old from Mississauga, Ont. has 56 points (26-30–56) over 53 games in his sophomore season to go with a plus-27 rating. Tomasino recently represented Team Orr at the 2019 Sherwin-Williams CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game in Red Deer, Alta. He was the 24th ranked North American skater on NHL Central Scouting’s Midterm Rankings.
