A rough start to the weekend for the Bulldogs as they dropped a 7-1 decision to the visiting Oshawa Generals Friday night.

It was all Oshawa in the opening period as they outshot the Bulldogs 20-9 and led 3-0.

While they played much better in the 2nd period, outshooting the opposition 16-8, the Bulldogs gave up the only goal and trailed 4-0 after forty minutes.

The Generals struck for three more in the 3rd to take a 7-0 lead before the fans of the Black and Gold finally had something to cheer about when rookie Logan Morrison (1) scored his first OHL goal on the power-play at 18:36 to make the final 7-1.

Shots on goal were even at 35-35.

Oshawa goal scorers were Danil Antropov (3), Matt Brassard (2), Eric Henderson (4), Kyle MacLean (2), Serron Noel (7) and Allan McShane (1, 2).
