BULLDOGS SELECT JAN MYSAK IN THE CHL IMPORT DRAFT

With the 20th overall selection of the 2019 CHL Import Draft the Hamilton Bulldogs have selected forward Jan Mysak of HC Litvinov Verva from the Czech Republic.

Mysak is a 6’0’’, 176lbs centre hailing from Litvinov, Czech Republic, the 2002 born offensively gifted forward began this past season at the U19 level in the HC Litvinov youth system recording 13 goals & 8 assists for 21 points across 9 games. Mysak’s performance at the U19 level led to his call-up to HC Litvinov Verva’s senior side where he’d play the rest of the season, recording 3 goals & 4 assists for 7 points in 31 games in addition to 5 goals & 4 assists for 9 points across 6 games to help HC Litvinov Verva stave off relegation while leading the team in scoring.

Jan Mysak has represented the Czech Republic at the U16, U17 & U18 levels, having played in both the World U17 & World U18 Championships. Mysak is also a highly ranked prospect for 2020 NHL Entry Draft.
