On Monday October 14th, the Hamilton Bulldogs have a special Thanksgiving Day celebration planned. When the Barrie Colts arrive to take the ice for a 2pm game against the Bulldogs, the Black & Gold will have a different look.
With inspiration from our friends at Tim Hortons Field, the Hamilton Bulldogs will wear Hamilton Tiger Cats style jerseys, as first displayed on Labour Day by our captain Isaac Nurse. The all black jerseys feature four gold stripes on the sleeves and a gold collar. The Bulldogs logo will feature on the left sleeve above the stripes, while the TiCats logo will take its’ place on the right sleeve. The Bulldogs will also have football style numbers on the front and back of the jersey with the Hamilton wordmark above the numbers on the front to emphasize the pride we have in our city.
During the game these special TiCats inspired Hamilton Bulldogs jerseys will be auctioned off by way of a silent auction conducted at the top of section 113. All the jerseys of players on the Hamilton Bulldogs roster will be available in the silent auction allowing you to bid for your favourite player’s game worn jersey. All proceeds from the sale of these jerseys will be donated to the Bulldogs Foundation to help its’ mission of enriching the lives of children and youth in the Greater Hamilton Area.
After a the team’s last home game was a thrill ride, ending in a shootout victory thanks to a spectacular goal from Tag Bertuzzi & an incredible series of saves from Zachary Roy, you won’t want to miss the energy & excitement that the Hamilton Tiger-Cats will add to gameday!
