MATTHEW STOME CALLED UP TO THE AMERICAN HOCKEY LEAGUE

Bulldogs captain Matthew Strome has been called up to the American Hockey League by the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, the AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Philadelphia Flyers.

Strome just completed his 4th season with the Bulldogs, his best ever in the OHL, with 28 goals and 51 assists good for 79 points. He finished the year leading all the major offensive categories in the Bulldogs OHL Record Book with 115 goals and 132 assists for 247 points in 260 regular season games.  He also has 30 points in 31 career playoff games including 18 points in 20 games helping the Bulldogs win the 2018 Ontario Hockey League Championship.

Strome was the Philadelphia Flyers 4th round pick (#106 overall) of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
