Bulldogs Preseason Ends In Shootout Win VS Guelph.

Logan Morrison scored the shootout winner as the Hamilton Bulldogs struck back against the Guelph Storm, avenging a Friday night loss with a 5-4 shootout triumph on home ice. Morrison scored a second period power play goal, joining teammates Jake Gravelle, Navrin Mutter and Liam Van Loon in the scoring column. Andrei Bakanov, Daniil Chayka, Ty Collins and Cedric Ralph scored for the Storm while Danny Zhilkin had a pair of assists. Hamilton’s Marco Costantini was the winning netminder, turning aside 23 shots and all three shootout opponents he faced. Hamilton played to a 2-2 pre-season record while Guelph finished at 2-2-0-1.

The Hamilton Bulldogs start off the regular season Friday September 20th in Sarnia as they take on the Sting. The Bulldogs will return home on Saturday September 21st at 7pm as they kick off their 5th year in the OHL for Home Opener versus the Erie Otters.
